You can’t argue with this logic…
According to The Daily Wire, Republican Senator Tom Cotton argued that his party is obligated to their constituents to fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court. He also argued that those who voted for Justice Kavanaugh had an easier time getting reelected.
“In 2018, we had a referendum on this question, just a month before the 2018 midterms,” he said. “We had the vote on Justice Kavanaugh. There could not have been a clearer mandate because the American people didn’t just re-elect Republicans, they expanded our majority.”
He also mentioned that the four Democratic Senators that voted against Kavanaugh lost their elections later that year.
