Here’s what he said…
According to The Blaze, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo addressed the latest in a series of accusations of inappropriate conduct, in which his accuser claims he kissed her on both cheeks “aggressively and in a sexual manner”.
“I felt shocked and didn’t understand what had just happened,” the accuser, Sherry Vill, said. “But I knew I felt embarrassed and weird about his kissing me. I am Italian, and in my family, family members kiss. Strangers do not kiss, especially upon meeting someone for the first time.”
Cuomo’s lawyer, Rita Glavin, released a statement explaining that Cuomo’s behavior is common and simply a gesture to comfort his constituents.
“During times of crisis, the Governor has frequently sought to comfort New Yorkers with hugs and kisses,” she said. “As I have said before, the Governor has greeted both men and women with hugs, a kiss on the cheek, forehead or hand for the past forty years.”
