He’s not going away any time soon…
According to The Blaze, former Georgia Sen. David Perdue has filed an intent to run for Senate with the Federal Election Commission to reclaim his seat, this time against newly elected Senator Raphael Warnock.
“Although we won the general election, we came up just short of Georgia’s 50% rule, and now I want to congratulate the Democratic Party and my opponent for this runoff win,” Perdue previously said in his concession speech after losing to Democrat Jon Ossoff in the November election.
Sources close to Perdue say that the former Senator is still considering a run and has not made a final decision yet.
