One of the first responding officers to the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando is going to be fired.
Corporal Omar Delgado has been suffering with PTSD since the shooting. It has resulted in a doctor deciding that Delgado is unfit to remain employed. The worst part of this is that Delgado is just a few months short of receiving full pension benefits.
Delgado had this to say:
“It’s a small town, everyone’s family here, and I thought I was going to be treated like family. I didn’t think I was going to be treated this way.”
