ISIS Plan to Hit US in Middle of Harvey Chaos

Iraqi Shiite fighters from the Popular Mobilisation units, fighting alongside Iraqi government forces, display, upside down, the flag of the Islamic State (IS) group during a military operation aimed at the centre of Baiji, some 200 kilometres north of Baghdad on October 19, 2015. Iraqi forces advanced on three fronts against the Islamic State group, flushing out pockets of resistance in and around Baiji and closing in on Ramadi and Hawijah, officers said. The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has seen Americans put aside their differences, political and otherwise, to lend helping hands to storm victims in Texas and Louisiana, but unfortunately, the chaos has also given the Islamic State group a potential opening for mass violence.

A recent message sent through a pro-Islamic State group telegram channel urged lone-wolf jihadists in the United States to target relief centers in Houston, Texas that have been housing thousands of Harvey victims and volunteers, according to jihadist-watch group, SITE Intelligence.

“To all the LM’s (lone warriors) in the U.S., pop down to Houston and drop in at any of the relief centers housing displaced people from the Houston floods, make sure to bring lots of supplies/gadgets/toys to see if you can help put any kuffs (disbelievers) out of their misery,” the message read, according to Breitbart

The horrific message was also reportedly followed by a series of emojis depicting explosions, knives, bombs, guns and medical symbols.
