A deadly attack near Orlando, Florida on Monday morning has left at least four people dead.
Details of the incident are still emerging, but the Orange Country Sheriff’s Office confirmed that “multiple fatalities” were the result of a shooting situation.
“Officers responded to a call about an active shooter at Fiamma off Forsyth Road in Orange County, near Full Sail University, just after 8 a.m.,” Fox News reported. That location is reportedly inside of an industrial park used by numerous large companies.
One witness named Sheila McIntyre called her sister and relayed information from inside the building’s bathroom. “My boss is dead. My boss is dead,” the woman reportedly said.
A representative from the FBI told Fox that the bureau is assisting local authorities with the investigation. The sheriff confirmed this information, and added that the mayor of Orange County, Teresa Jacobs, was also at the scene.
