Bush ethics lawyer’s opinion on lie detectors

Senior counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway said on Thursday that the Department of Justice may use lie detectors to determine who is leaking vital information to the media.

“They may, they may not,” Conway said on Fox and Friends. “There are many different ways to discover who is leaking.”

Conway’s comments were made after Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he is determined to uncover the person leaking information to the media.

Not everyone, however, thinks the media is the problem.

President George W. Bush’s former ethics lawyer, Richard Painter, on Friday tweeted saying he believes lie detectors should begin at the press secretary podium, hinting that Trump’s communications team has been lying.
